In our ongoing series of listening to surround sound renderings of revered recordings, we assembled at Gerry’s for a listen to the most recent Atmos mix of Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon. As always the raffle was the high point of the meeting.

Alama Audio East in conjunction with its west coast namesake, held an open house to celebrate its 10th anniversary. Ten years ago we were starting our journey, with our very first location in beautiful La Jolla, CA. DCHFG Meeting – Class D Shootout -February 1, 2025
We gathered at the home of Gary Gill to kick off 2025 with our first official meeting. The theme for the day was coming to grips with the profusion of Class D amplifiers. We had no less than five different amplifiers to choose from including VTV Amplifiers (Purifi), Atma-Sphere, AgentPur (Orchard Audio), AGD and Mytek Empire GanFET. The year 2024 will be remembered as the best year so far in DCHFG history. Our room at the Capital Audiofest was the best yet and received substantial media coverage and praise. For our annual Christmas party, we once again gathered at the home of Gerry and Pat to celebrate the year and our ongoing success.
