Afternoon Delight with ELO

For our September meeting, we had a Vinyl Night in the afternoon courtesy of Dr. Vinyl’s listening room in Maryland. Dr. Vinyl is one of our industry members carrying a wide range of audio products. Many of his offerings tilt toward the extreme High-End but he has systems that would satisfy all music lovers. Of course, the emphasis is on vinyl LP reproduction. John Gatski gave an update on DCHFG affairs. Mike McGary presented his basic amp design and new products that will be shown at the Capital Audiofest 2022 in Rockville,… Read More
DC Hi-Fi Group Meeting – March 19, 2022

The March 19th meeting of The DC H-iFi Group found forty like-minded persons of the audiophile ilk traipsing from all over to the Alexandria, Va. location. Ken has a beautiful home filled with an audiophile’s paradise of components. Ken is a professional musician (trombone) and worked with top tier orchestras and jazz groups. As an audiophile he… Read More

In the lower level sound room, Patrick Thompson, National Sales Manager, from KLH Audio Speakers, presented three-floor standers including the Cambridge, the Quincy, and the Kendall. Rob Pleyer, Director… Read More
